Barbara's Early Life as an Artist Began at a Young Age
Barbara Borck-Hart grew up surrounded by art. Her mother, also a talented artist, painted murals on the walls of the family home. She received her first set of paints when she was only three years old and has been painting ever since this time.
Educational Background in Art
Barbara graduated from NYU with a degree in fine art and traveled extensively through Europe, where she found herself captivated by Impressionist paintings. She has taught art at Fairfield University and worked as a graphics coordinator for Channel 49.

Borck-Hart has shown her work in museums and galleries across the United States for over three decades. Her bold, fearless style emphasizes line, color, and form, and invites the viewer to enter into a world of lush colorful gardens and the electrifying world of polo matches
Where She Is Today
Originally from New York City, Barbara Borck-Hart is one of the most renowned American artists working in the Northeast. Her work is part of the permanent collections of a number of major corporations, including Chase Manhattan Bank, General Electric and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co.
